Julia Wunderlin, a graduate of Butler University, where she earned her BA with Honors in Theater and Creative Writing,  is a director, performer and playwright who lives in Northern Chicago. Past directing credits include: We Must Be Dreaming , My House Was Collapsing Toward One Side, Talk Like a Real Person, and The Blue Room. As a writer, her work has been performaed by, Sussurus Performance Group, and featured in IndyFringe 2007 and at University of Ghana, Accra. Currently, Julia is the assistant director for Redmoon Theater's productions ofCape and Squiggle and assistant director of the world premiere of  Inherit the Whole with Mortar Theatre Company.

1.    What is your favorite word? Caddywampuss
2.    What is your least favorite word? Panties
3.    What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Music, being in the mountains, a good laugh
4.    What turns you off? Arrogance 
5.    What sound or noise do you love? water in motion
6.    What sound or noise do you hate? Construction workers at 7am
7.    What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Teacher or   some sort of business consultant. Anything where I could work with people and  be a leader.
8.  What profession would you not like to do?  Accountant or Attorney or anything really that has to do with numbers and copious amounts of reading technical material
9.  If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? nothing. God would high five me and smile, and hopefully if I really do things right, a fist bump too!!
